The El Paso Diablos survive the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks 8-3 thanks to Corcino's late-game heroics

Edgar Corcino drove in the winning run to give the El Paso Diablos (2-4) the lead in the sixth inning, as the El Paso Diablos hung on to beat the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks (1-5) 8-3 on Tuesday.

Moises Montero singled to get on base in the sixth. He then went from first to second on a groundout by Roberto Ramirez.

Corcino racked up two RBIs on two hits for the El Paso Diablos. He singled in the fifth inning and tripled in the eighth inning.

Adam Tollefson looked sharp on the mound. Tollefson gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Nic Jackson racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks. He homered in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.

David Casillas improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the El Paso Diablos. He allowed three runs over six innings. Casillas struck out seven, walked one and gave up seven hits.

Joe Harris couldn't get it done on the bump for the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed two runs.
