A magnificent effort by Robby Lomenzo spurred the got the runs (4-0) to a 25-22 win in seven innings over the Cutters (1-3) on Sunday at Veterans Memorial Park two.

Lomenzo had a busy day at the plate, collecting five extra-base hits. He doubled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings and homered in the first and seventh innings.

The two teams combined for 47 runs and 67 hits, including zero extra base hits.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to nine lead changes in the game.

Dennis PopikSR racked up five RBIs on four hits for the Cutters. He homered in the second inning, doubled in the fourth inning, and singled in the fifth and seventh innings.

The got the runs hammered the Cutters pitching as eight hitters had a field day, combining for 31 hits, 24 RBIs and 23 runs scored.
