Tammy Williams collected three hits as the Chicago Bandits (13-4) took home a 5-1 victory over the NY NJ Comets (3-15) at The Ballpark at Rosemont on Thursday.

Andi Williamson picked up the win for the Chicago Bandits. Williamson pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, four hits and three walks while striking out four.

Courtney Liddle reached base two times in the game for the NY NJ Comets. She scored one run and had one RBI. She homered in the seventh inning.

Olivia Galati ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with her sixth loss of the year. She lasted just 4 2/3 innings, walked three, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
