The USSSA Pride were led by a flawless day at the dish by Natasha Watley, who went 3-3 against the NY/NJ Comets' pitching. She singled in the first and third innings and homered in the sixth inning.

Amanada Kamekona racked up four RBIs on three hits for the NY/NJ Comets. She homered in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and doubled in the sixth inning.

Jordan Taylor got the win, running her season record to 1-0. She struck out two, walked two and surrendered no hits.

Olivia Galati ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. She lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
