The Primetime (0-2) failed to take advantage of Greg Devecchio's effort at the plate on Sunday, losing 24-20 to the got the runs (2-0) in seven innings at Bellport Field #2.
Devecchio racked up eight RBIs on three hits for the Primetime. He singled in the second inning and homered in the fifth and seventh innings.
The two teams combined for 44 runs and 56 hits, including zero extra base hits.
Matt Wells racked up six RBIs on three hits for the got the runs. He homered in the third inning and tripled in the fifth and sixth innings.
Jamie Taylor got his second win for the got the runs despite allowing 20 runs over seven innings. Taylor struck out none, walked one and gave up 23 hits.
Devecchio couldn't get it done on the mound for the Primetime, taking a loss. He allowed 24 runs in seven innings, walked one and struck out none.
The got the runs hammered the Primetime pitching as nine hitters had a field day, combining for 28 hits, 24 RBIs and 22 runs scored.
