Bobby MacDonald came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as MacDonald reached on a error in the one to lead the AA Angels (9-1) to a 7-6 win over the AA Indians (1-8) on Sunday at Optimist #4.

The AA Angels would not relinquish the lead as the AA Indians were unable to weather a six-run fifth inning deficit.
The AA Indians scored on an RBI single by Connor Fitzgerald, an RBI double by Rory Cairns, and a sacrifice fly by Brett Bertagnolli in the sixth inning and a two-run single by Alexander Conne and a two-run single by Conne in the seventh inning. Despite their efforts, the AA Indians couldn't get over the hump.
Nolan Conway racked up three RBIs on two hits for the AA Angels. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the third inning.
The AA Indians had no answer for James Stuckey, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The AA Indians managed just two hits off of Stuckey, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out five during his five innings of work.
Logan Kandalaft (0-1) took the loss for the AA Indians. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed five runs.
