Graeme Baxter came off the bench and never even had to swing his bat as Baxter reached on a wild pitch in the three to lead the AA Angels (10-1) to a 9-3 win over the AA Giants (7-2) on Friday at Optimist #4.

The offense exploded for the the AA Angels in the third. In the inning the AA Angels scored six runs.

Michael Heaton was hot from the plate for the AA Angels. Heaton went 2-3 and scored two runs. He singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Matt Barry got the win for the AA Angels thanks to six strikeouts. Barry allowed two earned runs, six hits and one walk over six innings.

Evan Matthews was charged with his second loss of the year. He allowed six runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked five and struck out one.
