Cooper Watson was cold coming off the bench, but Watson warmed up quickly as Watson stroked a key pinch-hit single in the seven to lead the AAA Indians (5-1) to a 5-2 win over the AAA Rockies (4-4) on Sunday at Foothills Park.
With the AAA Indians leading by one, Watson came to the plate and singled.
Kyle McIntaggart got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed two runs over seven innings. McIntaggart struck out four, walked four and gave up seven hits.
Zack Worden took the loss for the AAA Rockies. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed three runs.
