The York Revolution (2-1) refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against the Bridgeport Bluefish (1-2), recording a 13-1 victory on Sunday at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

The game was decided quickly as the York Revolution exerted their will early with 10 runs in the first three innings.

A two-run single by Andy Marte in the first inning and an RBI single by Patrick Arlis, , an RBI single by Brian Burgamy, a two-run single by Marte, an error, , and an RBI single by Arlis during the second inning supplied the early offense for the York Revolution.

Chris Cody recorded his first win of the year for the York Revolution. He allowed one run over five innings. Cody struck out two, walked none and gave up five hits.
