Friday was a great day for Brad Raley, as Raley pitched 7 2/3 shutout innings to carry the Lorain County Ironmen (20-32) to a 4-0 victory over the West Virginia Miners (34-18) at The Pipe Yard.

The Lorain County Ironmen's Tyler Bires was perfect at the dish, going 3-3. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings and tripled in the eighth inning.

Quinton Yocom (4-4) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out none, and allowed three runs.
