Dominic Brugnoni went 3-3 at the plate, helping the Chillicothe Paints (25-17) to a 4-1 victory over the Richmond RiverRats (17-27) on Monday at VA Memorial Stadium.
He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the sixth and eighth innings.Greg Greve put together a nice outing. The Richmond RiverRats managed just two hits off of Greve, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his five innings of work.
Cody Jones (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked four, struck out three, and allowed two runs.
