Trevor Kenyon went 3-3 at the plate, sparking the Hannibal Cavemen (15-16) to a 3-1 victory over the Springfield Sliders (4-28) on Friday at Robin Roberts Field.

Josh Tols struck out eight hitters en route to the the Hannibal Cavemen win. Tols allowed one earned run on seven hits and four walks over six innings.

The Hannibal Cavemen couldn't get anything going as long as Erik Johansen was on the mound. Johansen held the Hannibal Cavemen hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out none.

Brendan Kleekamp ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked two, struck out two, and allowed three runs.
