The Lorain County Ironmen (14-19) beat the Richmond RiverRats (13-20) 10-3 on Thursday thanks to a four-run fourth inning.

Nate Langhals had two extra-base hits for the Lorain County Ironmen. He doubled in the eighth inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Vince Frate looked sharp on the mound. The Richmond RiverRats managed just one hit off of Frate, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Caleb Schillace recorded his second win of the year for the Lorain County Ironmen. He allowed three runs over six innings. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered five hits.

Michael Chiaro was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just four innings, walked three, struck out three, and allowed four runs.

The Lorain County Ironmen were sparked by Langhals and Derek Sprout, who teamed up for five hits and four RBIs.
