Kurt Kudrecki kept the Springfield Sliders (4-23) off the board during his six innings of work and the Terre Haute Rex (16-12) beat the Springfield Sliders, 1-0.

Kudrecki allowed four hits, one walk and struck out two.

The Springfield Sliders were led by a flawless day at the dish by Joe Kelch, who went 2-2 against the Terre Haute Rex's pitching. He singled in the third inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Brendan Kleekamp (1-3) took the loss for the Springfield Sliders. He lasted just 5 2/3 innings, walked none, struck out two, and allowed one run.
