The Slippery Rock Sliders (14-14) and the Butler Blue Sox (15-13) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Slippery Rock Sliders that eventually took advantage of them in a 6-5 win at Jack Critchfield Park.

Storm Wilson was solid at the plate for the Slippery Rock Sliders. Wilson went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He singled in the third, fourth, and sixth innings.

Zach Place improved to 2-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Slippery Rock Sliders. He allowed three runs over five innings. Place struck out six, walked three and gave up seven hits.

GJ Senchak couldn't get it done on the mound for the Butler Blue Sox, taking a loss. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
