It took 10 innings, but the Danville Dans (13-9) managed to put away the Hannibal Cavemen (10-13) 5-3 on Wednesday at Danville Stadium.

With the score tied at three, Justin Stawychny came to the plate and homered.

Casey Fletcher racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Danville Dans. He singled in the third and fifth innings.

Mitch Holtz brought the heat against the Hannibal Cavemen during his outing. The Hannibal Cavemen managed just one hit off of Holtz, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his two innings of work.

Zane Hemond ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 1 2/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
