Casey Fletcher went 2-4 as the Danville Dans (2-3) took home a 10-5 victory over the Hannibal Cavemen (1-5) at Clemens Field on Wednesday.
He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning.The Hannibal Cavemen had no answer for Miles Nordgren, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Hannibal Cavemen managed just two hits off of Nordgren, who allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his 3 2/3 innings of work.
Tyler Paule couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Hannibal Cavemen, taking a loss. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked one and struck out four.
