The Lexington Hustlers (8-9) and the Hamilton Joes (8-10) both threatened with rallies, but it was the Lexington Hustlers that eventually took advantage of them in a 7-2 win at Georgetown College.

David Simmons racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Lexington Hustlers. He doubled in the sixth inning.

The Hamilton Joes were led by Bradley Macciocchi's hitting. Macciocchi went 3-4 and scored one run. He singled in the first, fourth, and sixth innings.

Logan Shaftner improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Lexington Hustlers. He allowed two runs over four innings. Shaftner struck out two, walked none and gave up four hits.

Ryan Atkinson ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just three innings, walked four, struck out six, and allowed five runs.
