Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Wednesday as the Sherwood Park Athletics (1-3) outscored the Spruce Grove two (1-5) 11-8 in seven innings.

The two teams combined for 21 hits in the game.

The Sherwood Park Athletics scored four runs in the first inning to build an early lead.

Pearce Goodwin reached base four times. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He tripled in the seventh inning.

Joe Pascal was hot from the plate for the Spruce Grove two. Pascal went 2-3, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fourth inning.
