Tony Cooper collected three hits, helping the San Mateo Rounders to a 6-2 victory over the San Francisco Seagulls (5-16) on Thursday at San Mateo High School.

Tom Hogan's six strikeouts were enough to push the San Mateo Rounders past the San Francisco Seagulls. Hogan allowed one earned run, eight hits and no walks over seven innings.

Trevor McMaster had a hot bat for the San Francisco Seagulls. McMaster went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.

Kyle Orwig couldn't get it done on the bump for the San Francisco Seagulls, taking a loss. He lasted just one inning, walked one, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
