Fans were treated to a high-scoring affair Saturday as the Tri-Valley Bercovich (7-5) outscored the Auburn Wildcats (7-9) 12-9.

The two teams combined for 28 hits in the game.

Connor Martin put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Tri-Valley Bercovich. He singled in the second inning and doubled in the fourth and seventh innings.

Logan Truex brought the heat against the Auburn Wildcats during his outing. Truex held the Auburn Wildcats hitless over five innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.

Nick Hoffman racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Auburn Wildcats. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the seventh and ninth innings.

Ryan Foley improved to 1-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Tri-Valley Bercovich. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered one hit.

Mike Proiette (0-1) took the loss for the Auburn Wildcats. He lasted just six innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed four runs.
