The game between the Evansville Otters (37-40) and the Evansville Otters went into extra innings, but when the last out was recorded the Evansville Otters emerged with a 6-5 victory.

With the score tied at five, Frank Martinez came to the plate and doubled, scoring Ryan Kresky.

Kresky was hot from the plate for the Evansville Otters. Kresky went 2-4, drove in one and scored three runs. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fifth inning.

Eric Massingham had an impressive outing against the Florence Freedom (43-35)'s lineup. Massingham held the Florence Freedom hitless over one inning, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out three.

Mike Hanley got the win, running his season record to 2-0. Hanley struck out none, walked none and gave up no hits.

Jorge Marban was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
