Blake Bergeron collected three hits, helping the Frontier Greys (28-49) to a 5-3 victory over the Traverse City Beach Bums (46-31) on Wednesday at Wuerfel Park.

Mark Pope allowed one earned run, five hits and one walk while striking out two over 6 2/3 innings of work.

Carlo Testa paced the Traverse City Beach Bums at the plate. Testa went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He doubled in the sixth inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Jon Shepard got the win, running his season record to 1-2. He allowed two runs over one inning. Shepard struck out none, walked one and gave up three hits.

Kyle Teague couldn't get it done on the rubber for the Traverse City Beach Bums, taking a loss. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked one, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
