Jereme Milons went 2-3, helping the Southern Illinois Miners (40-33) to a 7-2 victory over the Frontier Greys (26-47) on Saturday at Rent One Park, Marion, IL.

Justin Vasquez had a hot bat for the Frontier Greys. Vasquez went 2-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the fifth inning and tripled in the seventh inning.

Pete Perez improved to 4-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Southern Illinois Miners. Perez struck out two, walked none and gave up three hits.

Ryan Berry was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just one inning, walked two, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
