The Schaumburg Boomers blew out the Normal CornBelters thanks to eight hits, including zero extra base hits. The Schaumburg Boomers scored two runs in the seventh on a wild pitch and an RBI single by Alexi Colon.

Gerard Hall racked up three RBIs on two hits for the Schaumburg Boomers. He singled in the third inning and homered in the fifth innings.

Jose Trinidad (4-5) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just five innings, walked three, struck out nine, and allowed three runs.
