The Evansville Otters (34-36) beat the River City Rascals (33-38) 9-6 on Wednesday at T. R. Hughes Ballpark behind Ryan Kresky, who went 5-5 at the plate.

He singled in the first, third, fifth, seventh, and ninth innings.

Danny Canela racked up four RBIs on two hits for the River City Rascals. He homered in the third inning.

Scott Weismann got the win, running his season record to 4-1. Weismann struck out three, walked one and gave up one hit.

Patrick Crider couldn't get it done on the rubber for the River City Rascals, taking a loss. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.
