Saturday was a great day for Quincy Latimore, as he hit two home runs to carry the Washington Wild Things (31-35) to a 6-4 victory over the Frontier Greys (26-41) at CONSOL Energy Park.
Shawn Sanford's seven strikeouts were enough to push the Washington Wild Things past the Frontier Greys. Sanford allowed no earned runs, six hits and no walks over seven innings.
Mark Pope (2-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in 6 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out four.
