The Traverse City Beach Bums (40-26) continued to pile up the runs on Friday, scoring three runs in the last three innings, on the way to a 10-1 landslide win over the Frontier Greys (26-40) at Wuerfel Park.

A triple by Jeremy Banks helped the Traverse City Beach Bums score four runs in the sixth. The Traverse City Beach Bums had two hits in the inning.

Marcus Nidiffer put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He tripled in the third innings and doubled in the eighth inning.

The Traverse City Beach Bums relied on Scott Dunn to eat up innings en route to the win. Dunn pitched seven innings and allowed one earned run, six hits and one walk while striking out three.

Eric Avila had two extra-base hits for the Frontier Greys. He doubled in the first and eighth innings.

Matt Costello was charged with his seventh loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out four, and allowed five runs.
