The Normal CornBelters (34-30) didn't put up much of a fight on Wednesday, as the Florence Freedom (36-28) cruised to a blowout 11-3 win at UCMC Stadium.

A three-run home run by David Harris and an RBI double by Jim Jacquot helped the Florence Freedom score four runs in the first. The Florence Freedom had four hits in the inning.

Byron Wiley racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Florence Freedom. He singled in the sixth inning and homered in the seventh inning.

Brent Choban improved to 3-5 on the year by picking up the win for the Florence Freedom. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered one hit.

Jose Trinidad (4-4) took the loss for the Normal CornBelters. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked three and struck out two.
