Mike Torres knocked in three runs as the Windy City ThunderBolts (27-34) took home an 8-3 victory over the Evansville Otters (28-31) at Standard Bank Stadium on Saturday.

John Nester did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Evansville Otters, reaching base three times. He also drove in one runner. He doubled in the second inning and singled in the third inning.

Brian Oliver improved to 1-2 on the year by picking up the win for the Windy City ThunderBolts. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out two, walked two and surrendered six hits.

Ryan Zamorsky ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his fifth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in 5 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
