Bryce Morrow baffled the Normal CornBelters, striking out seven batters. Morrow allowed four earned runs on six hits and no walks over seven innings.
Mitch Mormann improved to 4-3 on the year by picking up the win for the Normal CornBelters. He struck out none, walked one and surrendered no hits.
Trevor Walch ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked none, struck out one, and allowed one run.
