The Rockford Aviators were led by Jeff Kremer's hitting. Kremer went 3-5 and drove in one. He singled in the fourth, sixth, and ninth innings.
Jerod Yakubik did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Joliet Slammers, reaching base four times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He homered in the first inning and singled in the second and eighth innings.
Matt Frahm got the win, running his season record to 3-0. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered two hits.
