Scott Dunn held the Schaumburg Boomers (29-21) scoreless for seven innings to boost the Traverse City Beach Bums (30-19) to a 4-0 victory.

Dunn struck out three and allowed three walks and four hits.

Carlo Testa rocked the Schaumburg Boomers with two home runs. Testa went 2-4 in the game with three RBIs and two runs scored. Testa homered in the second and ninth innings.

Matt Kuna ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed one run.
