Tuesday was a great day for Tucker Jensen, as Jensen pitched eight innings to carry the Gateway Grizzlies (22-11) to a 7-1 victory over the Evansville Otters (21-12) at GCS Ballpark.

The offense exploded for the the Gateway Grizzlies in the third. The Evansville Otters had no answer as the Gateway Grizzlies scored four runs.

Jose Flores racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Gateway Grizzlies. He homered in the eighth inning.

Matt Zielinski ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just six innings, walked one, struck out five, and allowed five runs.
