Chuck Lofgren held the Evansville Otters (19-9) scoreless for six innings to boost the Joliet Slammers (12-17) to a 6-0 victory.

Lofgren struck out seven and allowed four walks and two hits.

Marquis Riley racked up four RBIs on one hit for the Joliet Slammers. He homered in the seventh inning.

Matt Crim (1-3) took the loss for the Evansville Otters. He lasted just five innings, walked none, struck out three, and allowed one run.
