The Gateway Grizzlies fight back, defeat the Frontier Greys, 14-10

Things looked bleak for the Gateway Grizzlies (16-7) when they trailed by six runs in the fifth inning, but the Gateway Grizzlies recovered thanks to a key wild pitch in the eighth inning from Jonathan Johnson to pull out a 14-10 win over the Frontier Greys (9-14) at GCS Ballpark.

With the score tied at 10 in the eighth inning, grounded out, scoring Matt Mirabal.

Johnson racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Gateway Grizzlies. He tripled in the third inning.

Both squads had things going at the plate, tallying 24 runs and 24 hits, including zero extra base hits. Managers of the two teams seemingly emptied their bullpens in search of the win, as there were nine pitchers used in the game.

Jon Myers blasted two home runs for the Gateway Grizzlies. Myers went 2-5 in the game with two RBIs and two runs scored. Myers homered in the second and sixth innings.
