Logan Spitzack kept the Thunder Bay Border Cats (5-5) off the board during his seven innings of work and the Rochester Honkers (5-5) beat the Thunder Bay Border Cats, 9-0.

Spitzack struck out four and allowed two walks and six hits.

The Rochester Honkers blew out the Thunder Bay Border Cats thanks to five hits, including zero extra base hits. A home run by Alex Greer helped the Rochester Honkers score four runs in the eighth. The Rochester Honkers had two hits in the inning.

Greer racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Rochester Honkers.

Clint Knoblauch ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just 2 1/3 innings, walked five, struck out one, and allowed three runs.
