The Duluth Huskies takes advantage of late error to beat the St. Cloud Rox, 9-8

A walk-off error from Keith Curcio brought home the winning run for the Duluth Huskies (7-2) in a 9-8 victory over the St. Cloud Rox (5-4) in 10 innings at Wade Stadium on Tuesday.

Curcio got on base four times in the game for the Duluth Huskies. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first and second innings.

The two teams combined for 17 runs and 22 hits, including zero extra base hits. Both bullpens were busy with nine pitchers used in the game as the skippers of both squads tried to finish it off.

Nate Carter recorded his second win of the year for the Duluth Huskies. He allowed one run over two innings. Carter struck out none, walked none and gave up two hits.

Dalton Sawyer ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just two innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed one run.
