The Florence Freedom (13-9) and the Traverse City Beach Bums (11-11) each put runners in scoring position on Tuesday, but the Florence Freedom capitalized on more RBI opportunities, pulling out a 4-3 win at UC Health Stadium.

The Florence Freedom staved off the Traverse City Beach Bums as the Traverse City Beach Bums were unable to match the Florence Freedom down the stretch.

The Traverse City Beach Bums scored on a two-run error in the seventh inning and an RBI single by Jeremy Banks in the ninth inning. Despite their efforts, the Traverse City Beach Bums couldn't finish the comeback.

Junior Arrojo had a hot bat for the Florence Freedom. Arrojo went 2-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the first inning and singled in the eighth inning.

Dan Jensen picked up the win for the Florence Freedom. Jensen allowed no earned runs, six hits and one walk while striking out four over seven innings of work.

Jake Sabol (4-1) took the loss for the Traverse City Beach Bums. He lasted just seven innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.
