The Normal CornBelters (11-4) rolled over the Schaumburg Boomers (9-7) 9-3 on Thursday at Schaumburg Baseball Stadium after a five-run rally in the first inning.
Romulo Ruiz racked up five RBIs on two hits for the Normal CornBelters. He doubled in the first inning and homered in the fifth inning.
