Pressley stars as the Sugar Land Skeeters defeat the York Revolution, 7-6

A superb effort by Josh Pressley spurred the Sugar Land Skeeters (27-5) to a 7-6 win over the York Revolution (17-16) on Wednesday at Sovereign Bank Stadium.

Pressley rocked the York Revolution with two home runs. Pressley went 3-4 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. Pressley homered in the third and fifth innings.

The game was back-and-forth heading into the fourth, with five lead changes.

The York Revolution couldn't get anything going as long as Jared Wells was pitching. Wells held the York Revolution hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two.

Brian Burgamy racked up three RBIs on three hits for the York Revolution. He homered in the first inning, singled in the second inning, and doubled in the fifth inning.

Even though Bobby Livingston allowed six runs over five innings he still recorded the victory, his third of the season. Livingston struck out three, walked two and gave up eight hits.

Brett Tomko was charged with his fourth loss of the year. He allowed seven runs in six innings, walked one and struck out one.
