Joe Holden collected three hits as the Somerset Patriots (16-8) took home a 3-1 victory over the Bridgeport Bluefish (11-14) at TD Bank Ballpark on Sunday.
He singled in the fifth, sixth, and eighth innings.Erik Arnesen picked up the win for the Somerset Patriots. Arnesen allowed one earned run, six hits and no walks while striking out six over 7 2/3 innings of work.
Despite the loss, the Bridgeport Bluefish's Mike Parisi dominated the Somerset Patriots' batters, giving up two runs and striking out eight.
Parisi (1-2) was the game's losing pitcher.
