A walk-off single from Luis Montanez brought home the winning run for the Somerset Patriots (11-4) in a 6-5 victory over the Bridgeport Bluefish (8-7) at TD Bank Ballpark on Saturday.

It was a good day at the plate for the Somerset Patriots' Montanez. Montanez went 2-5 and drove in one. He singled in the eighth and ninth innings.

Corey Smith racked up two RBIs on one hit for the Somerset Patriots. He doubled in the seventh inning.

Paul Phillips recorded his first win of the year for the Somerset Patriots. He struck out none, walked none and surrendered one hit.

Adam Carr (1-1) took the loss for the Bridgeport Bluefish. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked two, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
