The Sugar Land Skeeters (7-2) beat the Long Island Ducks (2-7) 7-1 on Saturday at Bethpage Ballpark after a four-run explosion in the fifth inning.

Koby Clemens racked up three RBIs on one hit for the Sugar Land Skeeters. He homered in the fifth inning.

The Long Island Ducks had no answer for Sean Gallagher, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. The Long Island Ducks managed just two hits off of Gallagher, who allowed one earned run, walked none and struck out four during his six innings of work.

Nick DeBarr (0-1) was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked two and struck out four.
