Kevin Howard had two extra base hits, sparking the Lancaster Barnstormers (1-0) to a 6-3 victory over the Camden Riversharks (0-1) on Thursday at Clipper Magazine Stadium.

Paddy Matera did his best to jumpstart the offense for the Camden Riversharks, reaching base two times. He scored one run and had one RBI. He tripled in the third innings.

Dwayne Pollok improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Lancaster Barnstormers. He allowed two runs over five innings. Pollok struck out two, walked none and gave up four hits.

Brian Bass (0-1) took the loss for the Camden Riversharks. He lasted just six innings, walked three, struck out four, and allowed four runs.

Jerry Owens, Howard and Blake Gailen helped lead the Lancaster Barnstormers. They combined for five hits and six RBIs.
