The Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (14-17) beat the Seacoast Mavericks (15-20) 13-5 on Saturday at Doyle Field after an eight-run explosion in the seventh inning.

Jamill Moquete led the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs' offensive threat, as he got on base three times in the game. He scored two runs and had two RBIs. He homered in the fourth inning.

Victor Sorrento was hot from the plate for the Seacoast Mavericks. Sorrento went 3-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the second and sixth innings.

Dalton Keck got the win, running his season record to 1-4. He struck out two, walked three and surrendered four hits.

Brad Applin couldn't get it done on the bump for the Seacoast Mavericks, taking a loss. He lasted just two innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed one run.
