Brian ONeill kept the Herndon Braves (4-16) off the board during his six innings of work and the Alexandria Aces (8-7) beat the Herndon Braves, 12-1.

ONeill allowed four hits, one walk and struck out three.

The Alexandria Aces ran up the score, scoring runs at will until the final out. The Alexandria Aces scored four runs in the last three innings to finish off the blowout win. The Alexandria Aces scored six runs in the sixth on an RBI single by Christian Choman, a two-run double by Blaine Bower, a passed ball, an RBI single by Nicholas Collins, and a groundout by Nick Kranick.

Bower racked up five RBIs on three hits for the Alexandria Aces.

Dom Morabito was charged with his first loss of the year. He lasted just five innings, walked two, struck out six, and allowed two runs.
