Four first-inning runs helped the Alexandria Aces (1-2) to a 6-2 win over the D.C. Grays (2-1) at Hoy Field on Wednesday.

Bobby Burns reached base three times in the game for the Alexandria Aces. He scored one run and had one RBI. He singled in the first and fourth innings.

The D.C. Grays' lineup had no answer for Colin Milon. The D.C. Grays managed just one hit off of Milon, who allowed one earned run, walked two and struck out eight during his six innings of work.

Chunner Nyberg was charged with his first loss of the year. He allowed six runs in four innings, walked four and struck out four.
