Both the Alameda Merchants (27-12) and the San Francisco Seagulls (15-30) put runners aboard on Wednesday, but it was the Alameda Merchants that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 4-3 win at Fairmont Field.

Shea Harrison racked up two RBIs on three hits for the Alameda Merchants. He singled in the first, fourth, and fifth innings.

Eren Miravalles led the San Francisco Seagulls' offensive threat, as he got on base four times in the game. He also drove in one runner. He singled in the first, sixth, and seventh innings.

George Asmus improved to 3-1 on the year by picking up the win for the Alameda Merchants. He allowed three runs over seven innings. He struck out six, walked two and surrendered nine hits.

Sam Alton (1-4) took the loss for the San Francisco Seagulls. He lasted just five innings, walked one, struck out two, and allowed four runs.
