The Marysville Goldsox's four first-inning runs built an early lead that helped bring home a 6-3 win over the San Francisco Seagulls (0-6) on Saturday at Appeal-Democrat Park.

Jacob Hayes put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for the Marysville Goldsox. He tripled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning.

Greg Hansen racked up five strikeouts in the the Marysville Goldsox win. Hansen allowed one earned run, four hits and no walks over five innings.

Tyler Helms racked up three RBIs on two hits for the San Francisco Seagulls. He doubled in the second inning and homered in the ninth inning.

Zach Bell was charged with his second loss of the year. He lasted just zero innings, walked none, struck out none, and allowed four runs.
